Sustainable Produce Container Folding Robot “FoldBot”

$2,500.00

Description

Sustainable Produce Container Folding RobotHands placing container folding robot.

Our patent-pending ((63/730,663)) folding robot or “FoldBot” was created to fill the need between hand folding or using one of our simple Jigs to fold the containers and the fully automated Kliklok machine for $55,000 that folds 45 containers/minute. Depending on the container size and how fast you can place them, the FoldBot can easily double your fastest manual speed and eliminate the physical stress of hand-folding.

Made in America

Each robot is custom built and 3-D printed for your particular size Sustainable Produce Container. The FoldBot can be placed flat or on its side to operate. There is also an optional 45′ angle stand that makes it easy to place the flat SPC onto the FoldBot from either direction and then gravity pulls it into a bin or onto an assembly line.

As we continuously improve the robustness of the design, you would be a Beta Tester and get free upgrades if any issues arise. Lead time is 8-12 weeks and 50% down is required to start the build.  We are also working on an automatic hopper/feeder, followed by a way to incorporate printing/stamping on the containers as part of the operation.

To order the Sustainable Produce Container Folding Robot

Single smaller FoldBots start at $2500. FoldBots that can do two or more of the larger sizes can cost up to $4000. These rough prices are for folding the Sustainable Produce Containers only. Email [email protected] or call for more information about purchasing one for your operation: 859-630-2694 or for us to quote a custom Kliklok design other than for our SPCs. Check out the videos below of the ones we’ve already made!

The FoldBot was made possible through a collaboration with the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering and Applied Science. The design team of four mechanical engineering students who took on the project of creating the robot won first place at the CEAS Expo in the category of Product and Device and was also awarded Most Complex Device by the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering.
